Sheila Athens Smart Southern Women's Fiction

I am lucky enough to live just a couple of hours south of Savannah. I was there last week for a wedding and was reminded of all the reasons I love that vibrant, artsy little town. I visited two bookstores–the venerable E. Shaver Bookseller and The Stacks, a charming, well-stocked, woman-owned bookstore that’s been open only two months. I also had coffee with my friend and fellow writer Denny S. Bryce while I was in town.

I love Savannah so much! If I could do my late teens/early twenties over again, my plan would be to attend SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) as a creative writing student.
